Before each use, we recommend you brush with butter or shortening and dust with flour or cocoa to best coat your cake pan. To better preserve the nonstick coating, avoid use of dishwasher, metal utensils, scouring pads, or abrasive cleaners so you can continue making cakes in the years to come!
